These stock spacers fit underneath the standard stocks of a 1911 style semiauto pistol, and provide the shooter with two important features. The width of the grip can be incrementally increased to suit a shooter's hand size, while also providing protection against a "blowout". If you are shooting hand-loaded ammo, then a double loaded round is a very real possibility. In addition to blowing out the bottom of the magazine well, the standard wood stocks are usually blown from the side of the frame, and can cause injury to the shooter. These stock spacers help to contain the pressure, reducing the possibility of injury to the shooter’s hand. Sold in pairs. |
